# How to create a crypto wallet?

To get started on the CrSIP platform, the first thing you'll need is to set up a wallet. Wallets are available both on desktop computers and on smartphone devices. You'll need to choose the wallet that fits your needs best.

### How to create a MetaMask wallet?

1. Download the MetaMask app and click on "Get started".

2. &#x20;Click on "**Create a new wallet**".

3. &#x20;Accept the terms & conditions.

4. &#x20;Create a new password for your MetaMask wallet.

5. &#x20;Click on "**Start**" to secure your wallet.

6. After this, you'll be getting a Secret Recovery Phrase. Write it down on a paper and keep it in a safe place. You'll be asked to re-enter this phrase(in order) on the next step.

7. Re-enter the phrase and Your account will be created.

1. &#x20;Select “**Create new wallet**”.

2. Review and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

3. Backup your recovery phrase. Your recovery phrase is the key to your wallet. Keep this safe, as this is the key to accessing your wallet and Coinbase cannot recover this phrase for you. Verify your recovery phrase by tapping first then the last word.

4. Choose your preferred security method, biometrics, or a passcode. We recommend biometric authentication.

5. Claim your username. This is how other Wallet users can find you and send you payments.
